About 12Giving
We’re making a difference…one bite at a time.
12Giving unifies charitable fundraising efforts of local restaurants by selecting one charity each month to receive proceeds from select food sales. We believe that doing good for others and giving back to the community shouldn’t just be a one-time thing. Together, our partners are giving back to the community by getting their customers involved and making a difference with every bite.
The 12Giving idea was formed when Al Thomas, owner of Sperry’s Restaurant and co-owner of Sam’s Sports Grill, and his wife Trish were looking for a way to combine the charitable giving initiatives of their restaurants and businesses. It’s a simple idea that keeps one goal in mind—to spread our efforts locally and eventually grow nationally.

How It Works
Every month 12Giving selects a different charity to receive a portion of the proceeds from one menu item at each Sperry’s and Sam’s restaurant locations in Belle Meade, Cool Springs, Nashville, Hendersonville and Murfreesboro.
The program not only provides charities with a considerable donation, but also spreads awareness throughout the community about the charities’ efforts.
